hi! i’m so happy you’re here. 🙂

my commitment to world race gap year has been a two year journey filled with so much prayer and praise and questions and growth. the Lord has already revealed so much more of Himself through this ministry and my involvement with it. i patiently waited for His timing and peace to finally apply for what i had dreamed of for so long.

now, i’m usually not a nervous person. i’m not easily stressed or anxious, but interviewing for gap year made me more nervous than anything i had ever pursued. just before i applied, i prayed that God would make the next year of my life a year of holy uncertainty, where He would guide me as i follow His presence, prune my unfruitfulness, and teach me to live gratefully day by day. putting this into practice is far more difficult than praying for it. forever faithful, He immediately answered this prayer of mine: i realize a lot my nervousness stemmed from holding my hope in the future plans i pursued with gap year and not in Jesus, my firm foundation, where it should be. i realized that regardless of the outcome of my application, pursing the presence and will of God is always the ultimate goal. and as i waited for a call back, i slowly but surely learned to trust in His intrinsic goodness over any good He could do for me.

when i got the call and the good news that came with it, i was just overcome with excitement. i was at a complete loss for words. and in that moment, He quietly said to me “Remember this feeling. This is how I want you to feel about My plan for you always. It’s this exciting.” (He says the same thing about you, too.)

and here we are. my admission and commitment to world race gap year is yet another example of the ever-present goodness of God.

it is with so much joy and anticipation that i can announce that i will be serving on world race gap year’s activation route in the fall of 2021! my squad and i will be serving local ministries as they activate and establish the local Church in their communities. i’ll spend roughly two months in guatemala, cambodia, and eswatini after training at headquarters in gainesville, ga (totaling 9 months on mission). if you feel led to support me, there’s a link at the top of this page for you to donate to me directly, you can pray for and with me, send your love, or reach out to me personally for other ways to help. more than anything, i hope that this reminded you of His goodness in all things and that it encourages you to cooperate with heaven’s invasion of the earth.

i’m coming for ya, wrgy!

with ALL the love in the world,
